Memorial Day Weekend Update:

While we can’t hold large public ceremonies, Sacramento Valley National Cemetery appreciates the support of its visitors, local communities, stakeholders and NCA team members; we will still honor our Veterans and servicemembers with the solemn dignity and respect they have earned through their service and sacrifice. This year VA permit volunteers to conduct mass placements of flags on graves over Memorial Day weekend, so long as the activity is conducted in a manner consistent with CDC guidelines for limiting the spread of COVID. Per NCA COVID-19 protocols and Executive Orders, all volunteers must wear masks, adhere to physical distancing requirements, and avoid clustering.

Please check the Events page for the full schedule for the Memorial Day Weekend flag placement.
